Required for the install is a billet rebuildable flywheel that features a lightweight, low MOI design and infinite rebuildability. The billet aluminum flywheel weighs 14lbs, and billet steel 22 lbs.
Understanding Spec Clutches Designed for the BMW OEM Dual Mass flywheel : These clutch kits are designed for use with the original dual mass flywheel, and the flywheels can be used with a stock or any stock designed aftermarket self-ratcheting pressure plate. The billet aluminum flywheel weighs 15 lbs, and the billet steel 25 lbs. If you order a Spec Clutch Kit intended for the use of one of their flywheel options, either aluminum or steel it comes with plate, disc, pilot bearing, release bearing, and alignment tool. When you order a flywheel it will come with pressure plate to flywheel bolts. Remember this is only for BMW Spec Clutches.
